Right now the lake level is at 725.08 as of 11:30 am today. We have closed our ramp and the campground for the weekend due to the water levels. The last prediction we were given by the Corps was for the water to crest on Saturday, May 6th as high as 727 with discharge to begin at 20,000 cfm. This is of course subject to change based on the run-off into the lake and outflows and levels downstream.

The marina and motel are open as usual. Customers at the motel will receive complimentary boat slips this weekend to allow better boating access. The nearest high water boat ramp is at Shawnee Bend Park (over by the Dam) at the beach area - NOT at the regular Shawnee Bend boat ramp which is blocked off. Other high water ramps are available at Berry Bend, Talley Bend and Tebo. There are no courtesy docks at these areas, strictly a place you can launch.

The weather look like it's going to be beautiful for the next 5 days with a chance of rain on Wednesday or Thursday of next week as of today. The fishing report looks good as well, so take a chance and come down and have an adventure!
